One of my favorite traditions for Christmas is serving dinners on my Christmas china, as well as using my Christmas serving platters and serving dishes. Each year, I take my Christmas platters off the shelf and wash them in preparation for the holidays. I use two platters each year. One for turkey and one for ham. I have several other serving bowls for the side dishes.
Not only are the Christmas platters used for serving meals, but they are gorgeous holiday decor. I display my platters on deep easels so they will set upright on my shelves. Since I wash them at the beginning of the holiday season for display, I do need to quickly wash and rinse them again before using. But, it is worth it! I love the beauty of a lovely Christmas platter on my holiday table.
Large Christmas Serving Platters
Most Christmas china patterns have a serving platter in their collection. However, they can be pretty expensive, especially if you need more than one. Plus, some serving platters are simply fun to use, while others add a touch of elegance to the holiday table, whether you are using your Christmas china or not.
These serving platters are beautiful additions to a holiday dinner table! Either of these serving trays could be used in an elegant setting, or for a family meal.

Mid-sized Christmas Serving Trays
Spode offers several styles in their Christmas tree design. Either of these pretty platters is hard to resist and would be perfect for family dinners when all we need is a 12″ tray. I love the unique shape or outline on these beautiful platters. No doubt, these platters would be treasured family heirlooms in years to come. My own children have sentimental attachment to our traditional Christmas serving trays. They each have their own favorite.
A Beautiful Holiday Platter – A Cherished Gift
Because my family knows how much I love setting a special holiday table, I have been given a few holiday platters as gifts. I always cherish my gifts, as well as the thoughtful giver.
Children especially enjoy the enchanting stories of Santa and his magical reindeer. This serving platter is not only beautiful, but it fun and captures the magic of the holidays.
