Some of my own personal favorite ornaments on my tree, are from those “first” events and celebrations in our lives. After nearly 30 years of marriage, my husband and I have quite a collection of Christmas ornaments that commemorate the big events in our lives, starting with our first Christmas together ornament and including our baby’s first Christmas ornaments.
Each year as I decorate the tree, I recall those days like they were yesterday. It is amazing how fast the years go by. Someday, I will pass our ornament collection down to our children so the memories will live on with them.
