Lenox Holiday China for Christmas

Christmas china is part of our family annual tradition.  It is as important to our home as my bridal china, perhaps even more so.  I set the table every year with our holiday dinnerware.  Not only do the adults love the holiday china, but our children even look forward to seeing the table set with a lovely Christmas china design.  It seems to complete our holiday decor.

The Lenox Holiday china design is quite beautiful.  The circle of holly leaves and berries are a wonderful way to include the traditional green and red colors of the holidays.

This holiday dinnerware is made of bone china and accented with 24k gold.  It makes a lovely presentation on the holiday dinner table.  The traditional style is sure to be passed down for many generations in your family.

Each 5 piece place setting includes a 10½” dinner plate, a 6½” butter plate, an 8″ salad plate and a 6 ounce mug and saucer.  (shown above)

There is also a 12 piece set (on right) available that includes 4 place settings.   Each of those place settings include 3 pieces:  the dinner plate, the salad plate and a 12 ounce mug.  The salad plate can easily double as a dessert plate and I rather like the larger mugs in this set.  This is the perfect starter set for a small family.

The plates are the same in either set.  However, the mugs are a different size which makes them also have a slightly different shape.

In addition to the place settings, serving pieces are also available in this design.  I own 3 serving bowls, 2 platters, a gravy boat and the salt & pepper set in addition to 12 place settings.  Being able to complete the dinnerware set with adequate serving pieces is one of the reasons this china design is so highly recommended.

Cereal bowls, pasta bowls, and other decor are also available in this pattern.

The manufacturer states that this dinnerware is dishwasher safe, however, I always wash my Christmas china by hand.  I want it to be beautiful for many decades so my children and their children will one day also be able to set their dining tables with our family Christmas china.
